DEPOSITION COURT REPORTER SERVICE
DEPOSITION COURT REPORTER SERVICE
|
All depositions taken in Japan must be conducted on US territory. This means considerable forward planning is required in order to secure the necessary deposition visas and conference rooms at the chosen US Embassy/Consulate.
The Tokyo Embassy is often the first choice for attorneys, but has only one room available for conducting depositions. However, the Osaka Consulate is also a good option as it has two rooms. Osaka can be easily reached from most major US cities. Lloyd Michaux does not offer assistance with the logistics of holding a deposition in Japan. Instead, we provide reporters with extensive experience in realtiming technical testimony for complex IP depositions to those firms already familiar with the requirements. |
