Nicky is the founding director of Lloyd Michaux and has over 18 years' reporting experience. She is a Certified Shorthand Reporter and a Certified Realtime Reporter. Nicky is a member of the US National Court Reporters Association, the British Institute of Verbatim Reporters and the Shorthand Reporters Association of Australia.
Nicky has worked in many countries, having been permanently based in Hong Kong, Singapore, the UK and Australia. Her first Asian assignment was a trip to Hong Kong in 1995 to cover a deposition. Since then, Nicky has worked throughout the region on depositions and arbitrations in Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Japan, the Philippines, Nepal, India, UAE and Australia. She has also covered court hearings in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and the UK, as well as commissions of inquiry in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. Nicky has also worked in various European countries, including a stint at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague. She has also taken depositions in many countries outside our standard service region, including the UK, Holland, Switzerland, Denmark and Bermuda. |

KEN FLEMING
Director: Business Development
Ken comes from a business background. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from QUT, Australia and is a chartered accountant by profession. Ken spent 13 years in the industry, working with PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG, primarily in the financial services field. He served a range of clients, from leading international banks, including HSBC and Standard Chartered, to specialist derivative trading firms. During this time, Ken was based in Australia, Hong Kong and Dubai.
Ken left the industry and, together with a colleague from a corporate finance background, founded a fishing tackle manufacturing and wholesaling company which went on to establish an international client base. He subsequently sold his interest in this business to pursue new opportunities. Ken teamed up with Nicky to establish Lloyd Michaux. Whilst Nicky oversees all the court reporting associated activities, Ken is responsible for business development, as well as overseeing the finance and administration functions.
Ken is a keen rugby follower and long suffering Queensland Reds supporter. |

ESTHER KWOK
Support Services
Esther manages the Support Services team, which includes our in-house production department. Esther is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Esther has extensive experience producing transcripts for US court matters across many different states, as well as international arbitrations and local judicial court hearings. She is also responsible for the coordination of our other support services.
Prior to joining Lloyd Michaux, Esther spent many years with a large international company where she was the personal assistant to the expatriate Managing Director. Prior to this, Esther worked as a production coordinator for a large manufacturing company, coordinating production between Mainland China factories and Hong Kong final assembly factories. |
